Born 1943, doctor of technology nuclear physics 1974, since 1985 professor of energy systems analysis at the University of Lund. Director of the Swedish Nuclear Power Inspectorate 1977-1988 and the Swedish State Power Board 1988-1991; chairman of the United Nations Solar Energy Group for Environment and Development 1990-1991 and member of the technical advisory group of the joint World Bank-UNDP Energy Sector Management Assistance Program, and the Swedish Government Environment Advisory Council since 1991. T. B. Johansson is current assigned to the UNDP in New York. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and author or co-author of prestigious books such as "Solar Versus Nuclear &emdash; Choosing Energy Future," "Energy for a Sustainable World" and "Renewable Energy: Fuels and Electricity." He joined TFF as adviser in
1992.
